Brandon's gutsy move

out side she saw him put up the last stone before going to the unfinished part of her fortress to finish two rooms and the hall connecting them.

She kept quiet but thought of just watching him now.

each stone was as big as him and he place it perfectly to create a smooth outer shell. hew worked fast putting up the walls and even decorating. the rooms and hall were finished after a few ours and brandon fell to the ground tired and panting.

She said nothing but goes to him to stand somewhere near him. "You okay?"

he tried to sit up despite being worn out. im f-fine mistress... i finished the second quarter of the fortress and am now halfway done... is there anything you need of me i shall do it immedeatly.

"How about this: take a 2 hour break but If I find you doing something while resting..I won't be happy." Mellina said quietly but gets up to look to the wall.

it was charmed and protected by barriers that extended over the fortress keeping evil out. he sat back and stayed still to rest for two hours.

Mallina was now just walking around thinking but looking to the ground.

Penny for your thoughts Queen samia. meda spoke up as brandon went to sleep and it seemed to look up at her.

"You don't have to call me queen you know." she said quietly.

"I really don't care what I'm called."

Meda seemed to pout and sigh. alright princess. then what do you want to do today? it smiled a bit and let her think.

"Just walking around I guess." she said walking down the hall when she's about to turn to the right, a flower stabs the wall by her face. Mellina looked to see it was a full black rose.

"......." she kept quiet but went on walking.

"I might ask him to do some chores around this place and shop for some food." she said walking.

meda was about to reply when Mellina felt the fortress shake and brandon's energy clashed with onother energy. someone from the world the weird teacher came from and this one had two red lights in their hands.

"Uh, Meda? what is going on?!" she fell to the floor from the shaking but looking around.

do you remember the man who shot lightening at brandon and stabbed his chest with the weird red light? their invasion force just broke through. and Brandon is fighting a large group alone... we have to hurry hes in danger. Meda seemed to bounce off her chest as if trying to move to help brandon but it fell mostionless and able to talk still but it felt useless becuase it couldnt help except to use its senses to guide her either to Brandon or win a battle.

she just nods and goes to quickly try to help him.

there were fifteen. most were neophytes and acolytes only but one was a master level lord. he and brandon were clashing powers. brandon's energy against a sightless opposing force. both were having trouble but then she noticed that it was taking all of them just to hold back the attack that brandon was pushing out with his energy. the opposing force glimmered as it grew and the air bent giving a shape and substance to the force distorting what could be seen on the other side brandon detonated his blast disrupting the concentration of the support while he too the master and threw him into the air as the support turned to her and licked thier lips eager for the first blood drawn for this campain into a new territory. as a group they charge towards her with their swords of light humming .

Mellina looked shocked to see this but then felt angry, her blue eyes going to a darker color before feeling her back exposing her demon wings. "Oh no you don't.." she hisses before hiting the ground with her fists, causing a small quake but a crack in the earth, sending them down but she makes the sahdows change to hands, pulling them down before she closes up the crack.

one stronger figues escapes and hits her with a bolt of lightening bt it was black and her strength seemed to drain from her slowly and into this survivor. Brandon and the lord clashed brandon would block a weapon attack only to have a force ttack in his faces the instant he was open. this lord was fast she could tell the lord was using brandon's speed trick but it wasnt as good as brandons. the powers of these two seemed to come from the universe itself and was limitless.
