Locked past

Mellina heard his next question that made her look down more, seeing more water hit the rocks. She's heard this question alot of times but Mellina gives him the same answer. "I told you what I said of that one and it's the same one; of course I do still love you. Why? It's like you want to break up with me..forgetting we ever met or evne fell in love....it's like....your scared of me or something. Is that why you ask the same thing?" Her eyes kept looking down but slowly gets up to walk over to see some tree and the leaves blowing in the wind, a few falling but just lands on the grass.

"Through out my life, I know something is different from me and well..I guess this is one of them. I understand if your scared of me...go ahead I don't mind. It just feels like everyone will be afraid...scared of things they wish to keep locked up tight in their hearts...*eyes looking at tree*..memories and pain flooding with in you...that's harsh but painful.....isn't it?" As she spoke, the tree was slowly looking weak and sick, showing as if something was draining it's energy to show it looking dark and dead.

he walked into her line of sight forcing the effect on him. the tree strengthened and recovered as he looked at her. i asked this time on accident but i was thinking about asking it to see if you changed your mind... i want... to stay in our relationship beyond forever, to see you smile carefree, to bask in the light of your love so that it may banish my darkness. he shook as his reflexes demanded he stay quiet but he refused and fought them, t-to laugh with you, to dry your tears or help them flow if they help you feel better faster, to care for you when youre sick, to be your perfect man.

".......you really believe that?" Her eyes kept focused on him but slowly closes them while looking down, her hands in front of her clothes. The tree did recover but she just kept looking down or away from him. "I also feel...you wanted to say something to me brandon. What would it be? your angry? dissaponited in me? seeing me slowly surrendering to the dark part in my heart?"

She turns around so her back was facing him now while looking at the moon with her blue eyes, they shined a bit while seeing the moon's light shinning down on her, the wind blowing more around her and brandon too. "Guess that's my fault huh?...I still feel pain from my memories...and thinking of the next one waiting to be unlocked though..it's like I was like this before...lost, alone.....scared. It's like this one or myself..it starting to change in me brandon......"

he hugged her disregarding his previous warnings to himself. i wanted to say i love you. And besides everyone has to face the darkness of their heart. some for years others for moments. he held her closer, the pain will pass you just have to bear it. if i could i would bear it for you but that would just make the pain worse later on. i feel helpless to help you through your journey but i want to be a part of it even if it means you see my darkness or i feel your darkness...

Mellina felt him hugging her but she just bit her lip, looking down. Her fingers grip the end of her shirt while still feeling the moon shinning down on her and him. "I see what you mean but you don't understand...I know what I done. I know the pain and the suffering that happened. If only you knew..If only you saw what is going to happen........." Mellina's voice was lost to what she could have said but just kept quiet, feeling her hair still moving or some covering her face.

"I know i have to face the darkness and pain Brandon, I know...every part of me is trying to do that so we don't end up doing something I might regret same for my evil said. Both of us know...but something is telling us it's not enough..it's not enough to break it's hold..." Her voice really got soft that he barley could hear it but she just kept looking down. "If my darkness is.......doing something..I need to know why? Why is it doing this to me now?...w-why did my mind feel so lost and empty...even to you." She slowly moves from his hug but looking down at the ground till she slowly looked at him again but her blue eyes had slits in the middle whlie glowing blue, it's like showing a new dark side of mellina; something she didn't wish to see again. "You may say all that...and it's true...but don't you see it?..I do.."

She walked over to him but making him walk backwards till he was leaning against the tree she was about to burn. Her eyes kept looking deeply into his own, still had her hands down ot her shirt. "I remember it brandon, everything that's happened in my life slowly..it's like the darkness is trying to show me more of what I don't know..*gets closer to him*..I don't know what but..it's something. It's like the darkness is trying to get me out of what is wrong and what is right.....something...that I don't know."

the closer she was to him the redder he became but he retained his composure. then let me bear it with you, show me as it shows you, use my strength inside you to help... use our love. his words reflected his understanding of her darkness little did she know his darkness was blacker and deeper than she ever realised.

She said nothing while looking at him but got really close that their lips were almost touching but moves to speak in his ear. "You still believe that will do much? Many said love is a powerful thing, I know.......but sometimes Love can also be something more than you and I can think of it." She still kept speaking in his ear but her eyes were closed. "But I'm suprised to sense you...got a more darker side of darkness than I do..... I am guessing you had it bad than I did, didn't you? Darkness flowing within your heart...just like it's doing with mine.."

yes but my darkness comes from my ancestors and only recent generations have been able to control it enough to stop warring with eachother to form my clan. and love can conquer the darkness i know it can.

Mellina remained quiet while hearing brandon speak but she slowly pulls back from him, turning to back off. Her eyes remained the same but just looked down. "I think I get what you mean, brandon......maybe love is stronger than what I can see....or..it's just me." She slowly turns to leave or head back to her room but she looked down while feeling her hair moving around her face.

"I know..I can sense your dark neergy alway......." she kept her back facing him before leaving once more again to the accademy.

He held her hand to stop her. please... dont shut me out... dont leave me again... i want to help i really do.

"Your still going to do what it takes to help me huh?...How sweet, it's like your fighting back of the darkness taking you away from me and the light. If you want to help me, brandon..you have to help yourself because I might hold you back..." She moves her arm from his hold and kept walking.

BUT IM MORE WITH YOU! his desperation exploded out of him. im less without you im nothing without you. you give me every reason to live. to exist.

Mellina stops while looking ahead but heard what he said, saying it like she's his own heart to live. She said nothing about this but looked down.

please... ill do anything for you. you know that... he fell to his knees bowing before her. Please... let me do anything to help you.

"But why? You go through all this just to help me and yet..I still feel something is more...stronger within you. Your heart I believe. That must be one thing in the human heart humans wonder about....even you." She saw the other grnd mother was tired before taking to her room. Mellina sighed but looking down at him still wondering herself.

Mellina said nothing looking down at him but sighs, taking a deep breath from her nose before opening her red pale blue eyes. "So your doing this again huh? Well, I see. nothing much for me to say nor door when you do this...but I'll stay with you I guess..." She mutteres to her self.

he felt as if she didnt want him anymore but said nothing about it. i mean it Mel-chan i want to help.

Mellina looked at him while bitting her lip, seeing her own blood showing in drops. She didn't like how sad he gets since it makes her feel bad but just loked away or down. She begins slowly holding her head with her hands, looking down thinking."it's not fair....why are you always sad? You think I hate you now...from how I act to you? It's almost like it's killing me..."

"......So that's why..." She looked down again but still felt the wind blowing again while gripping her hair a bit in her hands. "you think I'll hate you forever...thinking your not worth anything to me......thta's what everyone tells me because they think I'll hurt them...or kill them..." She slowly bit her lip so hard and deep, some of the blood splatters from her mouth to the ground, even down her chin.

"It's all my fault....*shaking but now crying*....I don't know why but...I don't know....." She was speaking to herself but slowly glowing blue feeling some invible energy flowing around her like snakes but she kept crying whlie looking down, holding her head.

he hugged her warmly. no thats not it at all. i just dont like being away from you.

She just kept crying whlie bitting her bloody lip more but just looked down sadly at them. Mellina kept crying but pulls away from him."I don't....I can't........I don't know what's the matter with me!" She just broke down crying but turns to leave or head back to her dorm.
