Locked past

The prince let her go hoping she understood what he was trying to say. And he also hopped she would go back to Brandon, though he hated the idea, and heal using his help if he was any at all.

Mellina said nothing but now she was thinking of what to do. So far, she did remember the good things brandon did for her of helping her, saving her, and most of all; being her friend to become a couple. On the other hand, she did feel angry and sad to what has happened in her life and his life but she knew her heart had to look past that. Still lost, her eyes looked to the prince before lookng up at the moon, just thinking to herself. Her inner self just laughed, thinking she would never go back to him and run away agan.

"I told you Mellina; you will always be alone. And since you broke his heart, he'll hate you even more!" Her laughter was hurting her head that made Mellina choose. Walking over to the prince, she just gently bows to him before giving a quick hug. That did suprise him from what she saw before Mellina lets him go and went to the place where brandon had said to go. When she got there, she stopped but holding her knees and chest. She was tired from running as she was sitting on her legs now in the grass.

Brandon erupted out of the water with a net of big fish and he walked over to a large pile of trees standing them into the ground and spearing the fish with them. Afterwards he lit the pile on fire and walked over to her gently placeing his hand on her back. Im glad youre here. i dont think youre normal but that doesnt change how i feel about you. do you want some fish?

She said nothing looking at her lap but just nods once to him.

do you want to watch it cook. he smiled and sat next to her.

She just nods again but looking ahead while resting her hands on her lap.

he hugged her neck and kissed her ckeek. im sorry Mel-chan. i was an idiot.

She kept quiet but looking at the fire or at her feet.

What can i do to make you happy? he gazed at her eyes happy to see her again.

Mellina kept quiet but she just looked at him.

he nibbled on her neck. ill do anything you want.

She didn't move nor said a word when he was nipping at her neck again. Mellina was just looking down again as she held herself still.

he sighed and stopped thinking she didnt want him near but he got up to turn the fish over then sat with her. Mel-chan please talk to me?

".....what?" She kept looking down or away from him but she just kept her eyes looking right into the grass.

"Do you want me to hate you?"

she kept looking at her feet but said nothing else.

he bowed before her, please forgive me?

Mellina kept quiet seeing him bow but looked at her lap.

he stayed like that waiting for her answer and praying she would.

I said nothing but Looked down being quiet.

Soon the popping of the fish's flesh called his attention and he was forced to get up to save her meal.
