Time Well Spent

"Thanks brandon. Be back in a bit."she said happy and got up and went out. Her bag had a bunch of books for class, herself, etc. but one book was the ancient stone book that's magic sealed.

he finds the bag and puts it on the desk in front of the top of his head. as he waits he dozes off but keeps the bag in his senses until she gets back.

The book that was black was still on the table but mellina left the amulet near it to suddenly glow bright to unlock the magic seal.

Brandon looks at it and watches what happens with little interest. due to the fact he didnt know what was happening.

(im interested hes not. hes bored out of his mind from earlier in the day.)

(Well, that explains it..)

The book kept glowing while it was open but on a certain chapter of the stones and when they were brought together. It mostly says when the stones are together then need the key to help get them to their real power as of now, the stones are half strong in their ususal state but used of the amulet weilder, their power becomes maxed to be very dangerous. Only the one with the amulet will be able to unlock the powers of the stones.

i thought so this is a chosen quest. brandon closes the book and plants his face on the desk again.

The book finally stops when it senses Mellina coming back but holding 3 bigger books in her arms, tired. She smiled when she saw Brandon and went over to sit down again.

"Okay, I'm back!"

did you ever find the key to this book its acting weird. he points at it and keeps his face down

Mellina looked confused but then right back at the book that was in front of her but sighed.

"Not yet. I'm still looking for it right now but no worries.."she said with a smile while opening one of the three new books she came with.

he sends a gust of wind from the door to change the pages as she reads.

Mellina looked a bit confused as to what just happened but she looked at the book now to see what was going on.

nothing happens and he smiles under his hair.

Mellina kept quiet while looking at the book but she saw that the one that was sealed is not anymore. More confused, she looked at the page where the wind blew on it.

brandon kept changing the wind to turn the pages.when ever she read.

Mellina was about to flip to the next page but felt the wind doing it for her that made her a bit jump but looked over at Brandon that still had his head down and gently smiled.

he starts to laugh took you long enough to find out.

"yeah, I should have known you would do that."she giggled but smiled.

Mellina giggled but looked at him with a smile.

"I can see that but funny."

She looked a bit cofused at what he said but looked at the book of the stones. Her eyes looked at the book to see the seal broken and was shocked more.

"Wait, how come and how did the seal get broken?"

mellina looked at him then at her amulet but kept quiet now. Gently grabing the amulet, it begins to glow again.

Mellina's eyes kept closed but quiet as the amulet was glowing more and more that the book did the same.

(alright you, what is going on?)mellina thought in her mind but the voice sighed but was in her head too.
