Time Well Spent

Brandon was in the library looking through thick tomes of history and legend to find some mention of why the sacred stones Mellina is searching for were separated and what possibilities could occur if they were brought together. After several books he sits back and starts to ponder his own theories having found no mention at all.

Mellina was walking in the library to catch up on some studying for her classes because she didn't have time the other day. Sighing, she goes to find new books and took a seat, taking her own out to begin studying.

Brandon's ears perk up as she enters. hey Mel-chan. did you sleep well last night?

Mellina looked at him but gently yawned a bit, eyes half way open but she smiled at him.

"hello brandon and just a bit. I was up all night studying and lost track of time."

he huffs in amusement while shaking his head. youre crazy.

"So? I'm a bookworm in my family..."mellina giggled.

he smiles but his eyes turn brown. thats great. can you tell me what you think the stones will do if they gather.

Mellina looked at him, thinking.

"Well maybe something amazing or helpful to others."she replied.

i dunno usually people separate objects of great power cuz theyre dangerous.

"That's a good guess for that one but their are a little few choices too but that one is a bit more of a better fit."she spoke.

"Wait, someone sealed? Like a more darker vampire or something?"she asked suprise.

Mellina kept quiet but looked at the table, thinking of the choices.

Mellina looked suprised when he said that.

"I can't and I still lots to do...their's no room for that."

"Well them and some other classes. Even trying to study a old book I got in my childhoom years of the stones but it's been sealed by something."she said but opens a black book and read a few pages.

*sigh* he sits down next to her and plants his face on the table.

Mellina looked at brandon but tilted her head to the left to mostly wonder if he's okay.

His words are muffled but understood. I really hate this pllace theres nothing to do without breaking the rules.

"I guess but somehow it's just how the rules are here."she said looking at him.

i wanna shake things up but i dont want Kaien-san breathing down my neck with his stoodges. his face is still planted in the table

Mellina sighed but looked at him, closing the book.

"Well that's how it is here but I'm sure you'll get used to it."she said but looked at the clock and she got up.

"I'll be back but can you look after my bag please?"she asked.

Sure. he grasps blindly for the bag
