Bartholomew let Mellina heal his wounds and asked "how hard Onnee-chan?"

KoKoa sat at the edgeof the water, carressing a small, red bracelet in one hand. She smiled, talking to herself.

"You said you wouldn't miss me for the world, bro... So... Why aren't you coming?" she frowned slightly.

Bartholomew looked at Koa-chan and "Koa-chan, Onnee-chand can you perhapse" Bartholomew began to blush and continued "tell me how to tell someone my feelings torwards her?"

"It's easy..." KoKoa smiled sadly. "Go from anything from 'I love you,' to 'You're the most beautiful girl on Earth, and I can't wait to see your face every morning... It kills me to know that you're..." KoKoa gasped, stopping. "Oh, s-sorry..."

Barthoomew smilled at her and said "It's nothing. But what did you wanted to say Koa-chan?"

KoKoa whispered, "It just kills me that you're never coming back..."

Bartholomew stood still and looked with an empty look in front of him and let out a sea blue tear. He didn't knew what he was thinking but he was thinking about a life without someone speciale to him. And it was horrible. He then looked at Koa and said "Well, I didn't saw that one comming Koa-chan." He putted a fake smile but still looked with a empty look.

KoKoa began to sob quietly, hugging Bartholomew. She gripped his coat, burying her face in his chest.

"Just promise, okay?"
"I love you, Kokoa. I wouldn't miss you for the wirld. You'e the most beautiful girl on the face of Earth, and I can't wait to see you every morning. It just kills me that you're never coming back... Do you really have to go?"
"You don't have to go, either... If you're leaving, I don't need to stay... I'll live with Brandon, kay? Then I'll come back when you do..."
KoKoa's older brother pulled her into a long hug, breathing slowly into her neck. KoKoa's very breath shook as she began to cry.
"I'm sorry, Ko. I'm not coming back. But I'll visit, okay?" her brother waited for her reply. "Okay?" he repeated.
Kokoa pushed him away, turning and running. She ran to her room, locking the door. She sobbed into her pillow, ignoring the knocks t her door.

"He's n-never coming back..."

Bartholomew looked at Koa and hugged her tightly and petted her head and asked "What happend Koa-chan?"

Mellina didn't respond but was worried of Kokoa too.

Bartholomew hugged her tightly and said "It's okay. You can cry on me." looked at his hand and asked at Mellina-chan quietly "Can I just replace my fingers with sand fingers or can you fix something of my hand?" He handed his hand over (sorry for the oneliner) and kissed Koa on the top of her hair as a friendly symbol.


And began to sing a song wich his mother always used to sing for him when he was sad or was crying because of something, she would sing his favorite song. So he began while he began to cry softly while singing. He began to sing this song

While he sang he could swear he could hear his mother singing along with him softely.

KoKoa sniffled, looking up at him. "..." She clutched his coat tighter, hugging him even tighter still.

Bartholomew moved with his good hand in circle movements on the back her head and looked to up and smilled at the sky while he cried. He then looked at Koa and kissed the top of her head again and said "Everything is gonna be alright Koa-chan." He lied his head on her head and said "It's okay to be sad, that means we are living beeings Koa-chan."

Mellina smiled seeing this but she didn't say a thing.

Bartholomew listend how Koa breathed and asked "Do you feel better Koa-chan?"

KoKoa nodded, backing up. She stared at the floor. "Do you think he'll ever come back..?"

Bartholomew kissed the top of her hair like his mother always would do if he was upset about something and said "I think he will Koa-chan. And even if he isn't here on this place or in this world anymore." He grabbed her chin softely and pointed to her heart and continued "He will alway's be in there." he smilled with his warmest smile.

KoKoa giggled, thinking about her very gay older brother. "I hope he finds his Romeo," she smiled.

Bartholomew looked at Koa and asked "Do you feel beter Koa-chan?"

"Slow down, Brandon. I'm not there quite yet..." She giggled, looking back at Bartholomew. "Yeah, I do. Thanks."

Bartholomew let her go and looked at his hand and remake the fingers with sand. He looked at his hand and moved the fingers and asked "Who do you search for Koa-chan?"

"Big brother... All I want to see is big brother..." She smiled sadly.

Bartholomew looked at her and asked "Why don't we help eachoter? I help you with searching you're big brother and you help me with the mermaid. What do you think Koa-chan?"
