Testing days

brandon sent a hidden message to theo with the glance of an eye "stop me if her thirst is the problem" he nodded to mellina. goodbye love... please tomorrow be honest... he turned to leave.

She gently nods before going to sit on the chair but she was just going to skip her reading for tonight and head to bed.

brandon left and closed the door thinking.

"You know he's going to worry about you so much you barley know it." Thoe said to her but she just covers her face and head cuz she didn't know what to do now.

theo could feel brandon waiting and listening to try to learn how to help her. if he did find out he would create a situation where he could help and it would feel natural rather than planned.

Theo sighed before he looked up to her but Mellina just pets him without looking at his face. "Come on mellina, do you know the warnings he gave you if you hold your thirst in."

"Yes, I know but I'm not going to drain him dry......even if he said I couldn't do that..I won't risk it. I rather hurt myself than do that."

brandon's eyes widen and and slides down the wall in shock. the looked at her and gently pounced on her lap standing up close to her face with his paws on her shoulders. Mellina. he told me once that you already have done that. he also told me that he can com back to life from it as if he were only sleeping. without using up any of his lives.

"I know but I'm not risking it! I love him so much, I can't hurt him anymore.....*looks at Theo* I'm just going to be sure."

"Mellina, how many times have you did that? Answer honestly."
She kept quite but looked away before muttering the times she did this. "How many?" "I..I did this about 10 times now....."she said but theo was shocked.

"THAT MANY!? YOU SHOULDN'T BE ALIVE AFTER THAT MANY TIMES! DIDN'T YOU TELL ANYONE EVEN BRANDON!?"

'NO! I couldn't tell him....."

tell me what? Brandon was quiet and revealed himself.

"Nothing.."

"Brandon, I think I should tell you outside.." Theo gently pushes him out into the hallway and told him so she didn't hear.

he listened and stared at theo hard.

"It's true. she has been cutting herself and draining out her blood 10 times..she shouldn't even be alive after that." theo said as he finished.

"She knows but she didn't want to hurt you. She's been doing this since then but was too afraid to say anything. I know she loves your blood...but she's afraid you might be angry...didn't you see the white lines on her?"

i told her she could feed on me any time. he turned and walked into her dorm worried.

"She's like that alot..she does something behind our backs without us knowing." Theo said as he went in too but stops to see Mellina looking at her leg seeing some blood dripping on it or down it.

"What did you do?"

"Oh nothing.."

brandon shook and shouted out to vent his anger. after flashing gold he stopped and calmed down. Melli-chan... why did you do that? why don't you ever talk to me? he was quiet and sad not angry.

She covers her ears and eyes hearing him shout but kept still as Theo looked up to him.

he hugged her gently and cried. his hug pulled her hands down. if you needed to drink you need to... why did you turn down my blood... i was giving it to you...

"I don't want to hurt you." she asid sad.

"I can't... Ijust can't." she looked down really worried but just fisted her hands up.

"But I can't...*crying but hugs him* I don't want to hurt you.." she kept crying but shaking.

you won't i promise. he held her close but forced her to look into his eyes and see he was telling the truth.
