Elements Meditation 2

"Brandon!!!" Mellina looked down worried before more magma vines showed up to be near around her ready to grab her and pull her down.

Brandon's energy blasted the two hands showering her with molten rock. but brandon hugged her bending over her to take the shower himself. his training gear melted off him as did his skin on his back but he knew she was safe from he showwer and looked around for more hands.

Mellina was worried he was hurt before seeing more show up but the hands were attacked to monsters that were above them now.

Brandon formed a barrier separating them and the statue from future attacks but as the hands pounded he knew it wouldnt last long.

Mellina said nothing scared but looking at the hands.

Melli-chan please hurry with the statue... can't hold off their heat and attacks for long. the hands had begun to layer themselves over the barrier bonding and blending to amplify thier heat and force output.

"Trying!" she paniced a bit looking.

HEE HEE! dont panic or you will make a mistake. just calm down and don't worry about anything except the statue. despite his goofy smile and his laugh she could tell he was being honest as well as hiding how long the barrier would hold. yet he created layers to the barrier to buy more time.

She shook her head nad kept working quickly.

for five minutes the out barrier held and then shattered like glass as it vanished. there were four more layers left and he felt the barrier break as a peice of him got hurt becuase of it.

She jumps down but holding a old box. "I got it!"

Brandon was already on his last barrier and he exploded it to buy the time he needed to get Mellina and himself out.

She went to his side before using her demon wings to wrap around them and teleports them away using shadows.

Surprised brandon panted from exuastion. wow i didnt think you could do that yet.

She looked at him quiet but blushed. "i was about to suprise you.."

well im surprised... he looked up at her and felt they were back on his island she was sitting on him still holding the box. so what was the statue and whats the box?

"The statue was from your family brandon. See?" she showed the box bearing his clan symbol but it wa glowing the energy her mother and her side had. "but it's surrounded by Succubus' energy....it had to be something important." she said.

so it is... he smiled and looked up at her. well you open it becuase i cannot.

Mellina nods but gently touches the book with a finger, seeing the energy flow into her body as it unlcokes itself, opening to show a old book.

"It seems like a big old book of spells or it could be a diary or journal."

Brandon luaghed and shook his head. well open it and find out silly love.

She pouths at him but gently opens the book showing some symbols.

he sighed and lifted her up so he could move to see the book. looking at it he saw the secrets of controlling a third golden mode. one that took the body so far past its limit it could tear the dimension divide.

"These must have been really old.." she said quietly.
