Brandon's gutsy move

He leaned back thinking and Vanished with her to the kitchen of the human building. Once there he took cut sections of meat that said chicken on it, flour, eggs, oil, and a pan. he stopped there for a moment before reaching into the spice cabinet and pulling out lemon pepper. he poured the flour and the lemon pepper into the bag tossing it to mix them and then he cracked an eggs in a bowl mixing them into a gooey yellow liquid. after dipping the meat in the eggs he poured a thin layer of oil in the pan and turned the burner on heating the oil as he put the eggy chicken in the flour pepper mix shaking it up again. the oil started to heatup and when the floured meat hit it it sizzled and boiled violently alowly turning it brown. then he turned on the oven and found cornmeal and added milk and eggs to the meal turning it into a batter then put it i the oven as the chicken was turned over golden brown on the side that wascooked with black spots where the blood met the oil and cooked.

Mellina kept quiet waiting for him to be done but thinking of what Travis had told her.

he frinished the meat and bent down to pull cornbread out of the oven letting them cool a bit before serving them to her. Something bothering you Mistress?

"Oh, it's nothing." she was still nervous but just kept quiet again.

Dig in Mistress. Brandon filled her plate after it was cooled.

She took a seat and begins to eat, thinking.

He watched her eat hoping she liked it. but he put the rest in the oven to cook the oil out of them.

She did but kept eating.

After twenty minutes he pulled out the chicken and it had grown crispy from it's time in the oven. Here you go Mistress the prime course.

"oh my, did you..it looks lovley." she said suprised.

Thank you, did i what? he lookd at the golden brown breading and at her again.

"this is delicious." she said eating.

Did i what Mistress? He asked again eating a piecs.

"Did you make this all food by yourself?" She asked.

you just saw me make it her and now silly. he laughed and poked her nose with the cornmeal batter that was left over.

she just smiled and giggled happy.

He smiled and watched her eat.

She just kept eating while looking at her food.

is something on your mind Mistress? he looked at her and smiled for her enjoying the meal.

She just shook her head.

"If you wish but when you are done, eat something too." she said.

I did already. He vanished and returned to the fortress leaving her at the academy.

She just looked quiet but gently ate.
