he nodded and stopped in front of her. do you want me to carry you on my back?

She nods.

he knelt down in front of her facing front.

"What?" she asked.

hop on. im gonna give you a ride remember? he smiled looking back at her turning his head.

she just smiled berfore gently hopping onto his back.

his heart pounded with power and blood s his skin was soft but his body was a rock underneath. his fangs were dripping slightly and the marks on his face that reveal his demonic heritage become exposed as the world of makai is strong enough to withstand brandon in his full power in normal mode. he hugged her as close as he could to help her feel safe as the cavern went deeper retaining the same grassy and gold splattered landscaping as the large cavern they went into. his scent weas think on the air but it wasnt coming from him... bu tthe presence that seemed to appear from behind and follow close sticking o the shadows.

Malline kept holding on to him but looked nervous.

I smell it too... its weird but familiar at the same time. he walked on holding mellina up a bit more shifting his arms to hug her behind him. were close... i found a large ammount of the alloy that makes my skeleton strong. this gold stuff is it. but what im looking for is a gigantic brick about the size as your drawbridge. with it i can repair maintain and even create my skeleton... he was hiding how long it would take for him to do those things becuase he didnt know for sure but after a few tests later he would know.

"Hmmmm, that makes sense but where...." she kept quiet looking around.

"Oh, okay." she looked to him.

he was very slowly growing redder as he walked on. after a few more caverns the gold coated the whole cavern top to bottom. as they walked he saw it. it was a solid metal block cool to the touch and unblemished by anything time could offer. he picked it up with his mind turning only to be hit by a flash of darkness and a screech of fury and bloodlust the block droped crater ing th ground around it brandon sheiled her from the attack and took the full hit to keep her safe.

"Brandon! You okay?" she looked a bit scared now from that.

he was slashed. the creatre flew around and charged again ready to remove brandon's head with its clawed hands.

Mellina noticed before using her powers to let out a wave of molten fire right at the creature to keep it away. "Stay back from my husband!"

the face of the creature lit up revealing brandon? it screeched and brandon tackled it into the molten fire getting his arms burnt to the bone holding the creature in the fire. it burst out and brandon regenerated before getting slashed again. the claws reeked of a poison but it was weak and designed to cause pain only. the creature licked its claws then turned to mellina dashing forwards to her.

the creature was thin and lanky yet incredibly strong. its clawed hands were four two for hands two for feet. there were mummylike wrappings around its chest and waist loose and tightly wrapped drift streamers. its skin was white and clammy and its face was back to normal. a mouth with sharklike teeth and the wrappings around the top of its head to its nose if it had a nose. she couldnt tell becuase of the wrappings..

She looked shocked to see that but shook her head, knowing it couldn't be him. she dodges to try and do another attack.

Brandon hit the creature with an energy blast and a big one too. it fell into the magma Mellina created and sank as this time the heat destroyed it.

She saw that but slowly sits up to look at the motlen rock she made. "I-is it gone?"

"I..It just happened." she said looking at her hands.

He luaghed and kissed her lips suddenly. when he did she realised that he was thinking about pervy things and kissing her but also she got a picture in her head about the creature. it was an expiriment from his family's dark ages when they practiced black magic demonic ceremonies and scientific dissection of everything there was.

she blushed redder now but looked confused from seeing the other image.
