A memorial Birthday

"do you wnat a normal pet or something like Theo?" she asked.

"It's tough to pick one for you. It's like pets will only get in the way." she said thinking still.

She smiled before going to try to look for a pet seeing a few walkikng around.

he walked with her and watched her.

"Okay, if you did want a pet, which would fit you? Small, medium, large, one that's able to have powers, brave?" she asked.

"What type?" Mellina asked him, looking out for the medium animals.

She begins to think before looking at the animals, thinking of which one will do him well.

Brandon looked around as they walked and he glanced over into a dark corner seeing a small paw. he walked over and found a small kitten similar to theo but with thinner features and a more streamlined body. Plus it was a girl. He looked into the slits that were its eyes and they were slits of suspicion but they opened wider as he only looked and tilted his head in wonder. Hey there Little one If you want i can get you out of here and find you some company.

"what's wrong brandon, found one?" she asked happy.

Maybe but not for me. becuase she needs someone to care for her. He stared at the eyes as they softened and her small face came out of the shadows i know a boy cat just like yu. after you get to your full strength i will let you meet him what do you think about that?

mellina looked to see the little kitten blink and nod.

He held out his hand to her and The non sentient animals started growling at them both but he didnt care as he looked at Mellina.

bic:she giggled happy for him and the kitten before seeing it slowly walking to brandon's hand, sniffing it.

See... im not lying his scent it on my skin. Brandon gently lifted the kitten in his hands similar to how he carries Mellina in his arms. She mewed quietly looking at them both.

the kitten kept smelling his hand while mewing gently, looking up into brandon's face happy. "Awww, I think she likes you."

Mellina nods but sees the kitten mewing.

He walked with Mellina holding the kitten and smoothing out her fur.

mellina smiled at that when the kitten purred gently, moving her baby tail.

After the official things were in order brandon walked with Mellina where ever she was going to go next still holing the now sleeping kitten. Mel-chan... do you remember the week we spent in the sound cave?
