A heavy painfull memory

Dark Grey clouds were passing through that late afternoon while Mellina was standing outside in the rain, gazing up at the clouds that let down some heavy rain to the dry ground below her but didn't care while gazing her eyes up. They were still light red but somehow, they looked possessed, as if she wasn't herself no more during the rain.

Still not moving, she kept looking up at the sky while memories flashes through her mind but her amulet was glowing with the mix of the pearls embedded inside it but her body was also glowing a color too but it was mostly a beautiful pale blue color because it was raining.

Hey Mel-chan i got somethin you have to see. Brandon is running towards her carrying a cloth over his hands.

She was still in a trance but blinks twice when she heard Brandon's voice. Lowering her head, she turns around to look at Brandon with a quiet look.

"What is it?"

he moves the towel to reveal a red egg that sizzles in the rain. the area of his hands holding the egg looks like his is burning away but there are no flames. guess.

Mellina kept quiet but looked at the red egg that was in the towel but she didn't know if it was possible of what it was or not.

the burning speads and he smiles at her as the towl burns away and reveals his blistered hands. you give up?

She kept looking till her eyes slowly widen a bit but darken a little but not that much.

"But how? How or where did you find it?"

"I don't know if it's possible but could that be....a dragon egg?"she asked while still getting wet from the rain but didn't care.

"Hmmmm.....is it some sort a serpent?"she asked again but looking confused.

"A Pheonix egg? how in the world did you get that here or find it?"she asked but looking at him.

"So you mostly saved it. That's very nice of what you did to keep it safe but are you keeping it too?"she asked him.

"Well, okay then."she said a bit but looked at the egg again.

She looked surprised at him then at the egg.


"Okay but..what if it doesn't like me?"

"Okay but do you want me to.."she stops but remember that he can heal himself.

"Really?...well, I could try that.."she said while looking at the egg like a mom.

he sighs and places the egg in her hands. it is cold in her hands and softly glows a red and orange light.

She kept holding the egg but looked a bit suprised to how it reacted.
