A doctor visit:hunger sickness

He follows but keeps his distance.

Mellina sighed with a smile but looked around tryign to find the same cave with the stone.

as brandon nears the cave a lightening storm forms and repeatedly attacks him. he jumps from place to place to avoid getting hit and follows at a closer distence.

Mellina stops when she heard the lightning but got a bit worried again but ran over to the area.

Mel-Chan can we hurry this up this isnt normal lightening it is a form of attack. he is pale and fidgety jumping from place to place every strike.

Mellina nods but quickly rushes to find the stone somewhere in the cave. Running while hearing echos from her shoes as she ran, she stops when seeing some glowing up ahead that had to be the stone.

"Aha! Found it!"she said happily while going over and picking it up.

she hers Brandon's yell and it sounds like he is in extreme pain.

"Brandon!"she shouted out while running out of the cave with the lightning stone in her hands to see if he was okay.

Brandon was holding a blackened arm that was obviously hit by a lightening bolt. he was dodging others from a metalic beast. He keeps dodging and then he leaps at the beast whipping his left foot around to strike it. he kicks through the protective armor and through the power core killing it dead. when it hits the ground he looks at Mellina and grinns. just after he does a surge of electricity zaps him in a sustained 1 minute burst, burning him black and cuasing him to scream in unimaginable pain. when the shock ends he collapses and his wieght crushes the beast. his body sparks with residual energy.

Mellina looked half shocked and mostly impressed at what just happened but never knew something like that could happen with brandon.

Brandon is still lying in the wreckage burned and sparking.

Finally shaking her head, she rushes over quickly to Brandon to check if he was okay and not dead.

"Brandon? Brandon, can you hear me? are you alright?"

his body is charred and the energy has subsided. He gasps for air and his eyes bug out and he clings to her coughing.

Mellina got more worried while trying to help him sit up but she didn't know if he was going to be worse.

"Brandon?"

weakly he looks up at her. hey? youre lucky. this thing was about to hit you with a bolt and i got in the way just in time. he starts coughing up peices of charred lungs and his burnt skin falls off exposing brand new red skin that is still healing. looks like i really put my foot in it this time huh?

Mellina looks shocked at what he did that could make her cry happy for what he did for her. Looking at brandon, tears appeared but she ignores them. Something told her he was trying to stop her or worse.

"I can't beileve you did that for me....oh thank you....but you could have died.

ive never had anyone fall in love with me before. i want you to enjoy the time you have asa thank you.if that means i die then so be it as long as youre ok. i couldnt care less about my safty. he laughs and coughs up more of his lungs ill be fine in a minute. and please try not to help it actually hinders the process.

Mellina kept quiet but stops helping him so he can heal himself.

"You might not care but I do."

He reaches up and the old skin falls off before brushing her tears away. i know and im sorry. he coughs one last time and completly sheds before getting up slowly.

"It's alright brandon but I'm wondering if these events are trying to say stop looking for the other last stones. Looking at the lightning stone, she puts it with the others.

Nah im just getting a little too rowdy with the guardians. he speaks in her head. actually my weakness is lightening attacks which is why i left like i did.

its almost impossible for me to heal from lightening injuries. and it effects me like it would a normal human. Brandon speak out loud to break the silence before walking. you know i was thinking what do you want me to do now that were getting to be closer friends.

She just sighed but looked at him but puts the box away in her bag and looked around.

"We are only a few stones left but I think you need to get some rest so we are taking a break."
