A doctor visit:hunger sickness

Mellina kept quiet while looking at him but felt a bit worried if he was mad about what happened.

"Um, brandon? you alright?"

his ears twitch and he looks at her. I guess im ok. I love eastern dragons but they all think im responsible for a dragon sluaghter that happened a long time ago. did you mean about my wound. he fingers his the tear in his shirt.

Well, yes and if your alright with what happened just now? I mean, was their another one that blamed you for that?"she asked gently.

he looks down and sighs. I did kill those dragons. but it was in self defense. when im attacked by a large number. i go into a berzerker mode of sorts and fight until they back off or die, and western dragons are too proud to back off. as for the eastern dragons they were young and following orders of older western dragons. i dont lose my mind i just lose my ability to hold back. he looks up at her and smiles. but as for the wound as lond as i heal it doesnt matter cuz a vampires cells can divide indefinitly.

Mellina looked a bit surprised but a bit sad for him. Even from the words he said to her, somehow, she can't help but feel a bit sad for him and of what he had to do to make the dragons hate him but he was doing it to keep him safe. Sighing, she smiled at him."Well, if you say so but still....."she said while looking at him.

again he is nose to nose with her stareing into her eyes trying to read her mind. Still... what? his voice is a gentle curiosity

She slowly looked up back at him but didn't know what to say from gazing into his eyes. Mellina felt the wind blowing around her a bit but she kept her focus on him.

"I still worry...even if you say all of that."

he forwns when he failed to read her ming again and backs up before shrugging. oh well ill just have to live through your worries then. right?

"Yeah, I guess you are right on that one."she said with her eyes closed but smiling.

whats with the smile? he had continued walking.

"Nothing really, why ask? People can't smile once in a while.."she asked while looking at him.

She looked quiet at him now but wondered what he means by that. Slowly looking down at the ground under her feet, she was thinking of what her family said; keep smiling but now she thinks that others would say smiling too much is not a good thing.

"Is it cuz of that..your feeling that way now? Because I'm too happy and stuff?"

"Oh, well okay but I thought it was because of me that I was making you that way."she said quietly.

eh nevermi... OOF he runs smack into a barrier and falls backwards smashing into the ground. OW who put a darkness barrier in the middle of a well used path.

Mellina kept quiet but went over to look or examine the dark barrier. Her amulet reacted to it while she didn't know of what or why that happened.

"Maybe it's because something or someone doesn't want us here or it's some type of defense from the stone it's self."

"Okay, that's the true part."she said while looking at him but then back at the dark barrier.

"*sighs* Sorry about that. I don't know much yet but still studying but I think you could be right about the dark stone but..hold on."

Quickly, she took out the same bag with the stones in it and gently took out the dark stone in her hand and held it against the barrier. She waited for something to happen but the stone glowed a black and dark purple mix and the same for the barrier too.

"That confuses everyone that tries to get them. Anyway, lets just hurry and get this thing..I don't like it much here."she shivered while feeling something weird with the barrier as it kept glowing but disappears into the dark shadows to be gone.

i would but i have a huge problem. she notices he hadnt moved since he hit the barrier.

She turns to look at him and goes to him.

"What's the matter?"
