Pop quiz!?

"Pop quiz!" The teacher passed out the pop quiz.
Sora never had a quiz at this academy, and her hand was shaking.

you and i both know that these quizzes are useless. we don't need acedemic prowess we need social skills for living with humans. do i really have to bite you again? brandon glared at this teacher and sora saw the air itself heating up from the gaze.

"Brandon, be nice."Mellina hits his head using her pencil gently but looked to him and Sora.

Sora looks down at her hands. "I'm being... used?"

"Brandon." Mellina looks to him but looks to sora. "No, you are not being used. I'm sure the teacher is-" Before she finished, she jumps seeing a hand on her desk, seeing the teacher looking at her. "No talking, Miss Saimia." he said mad but she looked silent.

Sora looks at the teacher and raises hand. "Why are we having a pop quiz if it's a friday? I thought for SURE the schoolboard said that there were no quizzes or tests on friday."
The teacher looked at her with somewhat angry eyes. "You pay attention to details." he says, taking the papers back.

brandon walked up and whispered somethig so low sora couldn't hear it but melli could. "they will attack tonight... be ready."

"What? tonight? are you s-"

"Miss saimia? do you want to share something with the class?" the teacher asked mad but mellina looked down a bit. "No ma'am." she said. "Good then stop talking and be quiet please."

he nodded to melli.

Mellina nods back but looks ahead now being quiet.

Sora moves her pencil around with boredom. "What now, teach?"

"Well, I still should give you all the pop quiz but you know? I won't." she said seeing the students cheering happy. "No, instead, you all get a 10 page test!" she said hearing them complaining.

"Hey, that's not fair!" mellina said but the teacher looked to her. "Do you all want to make it 20 pages!?"

The teacher passes out the test.

"This seems simple enough."

Sora picks up her pencil and finishes the test in 2 minutes.

"My hand is sweating... Dang."

brandon sighed and finished his in an instant

Sora looks at molly.

"What is she doing here?"

She focuses back on her tests and completes all the questions in a few minutes.

Mellina was already done with her own tests but was waiting for this to be done.

"You always want a battle huh?"mellina said quietly to him and saw the students trying to do the test.

"I know." she said.
