She kept quiet near him but was looking around.

mellina looked but just follows him.

they were on a different mountain than before. and it was close. he did the same thing as last time to prepare.

She kept watching but made a rock like sleigh to get ready.

Brandon held her hand making a barrier to protect them both as the mountain quakes violently.

she kept near him but held his hand back.

the mountain blew like the last one only much more violently. brandon's barrier failed and they were thrown away from the cloud by the explosion. surrised by the force of this smaller mountain brandon jumped into high alert and evaded the lava bombs carrying her in a crushing grip. until they were out of danger.

She thought it was going to be the last time but this one was more violent. She grips onto him tightly looking scared but kept quiet.

when he looked back to see if there were any more lava bombs he crashed into a canyon wall splitting a new canyon that ends when he stopped moving. the cloud slammed into them but not before he turned around and shielded her from the impact with his back and another barrier that also broke too quickly the broken barrier was solid instead of energy and its pieces lodged in his back and his back was burned by the cloud before he could move his wings around the both of them as protection.

mellina kept looking worried but wonders if he's okay.

soon he shot out of the cloud and flew to an area where the ash wouldnt go. then he set her down and turned his back to a waterfall to wash it. she caught a glimpse of his back. it was badly burned and his wings were fine. the skin and parts of the muscle were burned off and still smoking he was doing his best not to cry from the pain but when the water hit him he cries out in pain and falls to his knees bearing the weight of the water on his wounded back.

she kept watching him, hoping he's alright.

soon after it was cleaned out his back healed and he collapsed on the shore. his energy was as absent as his wounds.

"brandon?" she asked, walking to him.

he was still awake but he couldn't move his breathing was ragged and and his lungs were bleeding slightly spilling blood on the ground.

She got near him while looking to brandon, hoping he's alright. "Hey, you okay?" she asked again.

he wasnt moving but he managed to shake his heead no.

mellina looked around but looked at him.

after a few minutes of forced healing brandon finally manages to stand but he fell to his knees again as another volcano blows too far to see.
